Unavoidable Questions and Undeniable Answers

Answers of Hope

You ever wrestle with hard things you see and hear... things you just don't understand or misunderstood? We all do... especially if we've been misinformed or misguided about something that God does or doesn't do.

While reading Psalm 25, I couldn't help but notice how David pleaded with the Lord to show, teach and lead him in the things he didn't know and understand, and it reminded me of Habakkuk.

One of the greatest challenges you and I face is not learning the ways of God... but UNLEARNING, what we have perceived to be the right ways of life.

It’s easier to learn the things of God than it is to unlearn the things we’ve seen and heard and embraced FROM those who have never committed their ways to the Lord.

Let’s be honest and straight to the point. No one ever has a learning problem in the kingdom of God... it’s a commitment issue that we’re dealing with, when we can’t grasp and glorify God’s ways for our lives.

Habakkuk found himself in this place. Misled by "info" passed down to him about how God works, and challenged by the times, he was struggling with his concept of God and what He should do.

But he did the right thing... he wrestled with it by bringing it to the right Person and place — God. Therefore, he has taught us a valuable lesson.
