Christians, The Spiritual Temples of God

The New Testament churchis no longer a building with ornate archetecture nor with crosses, statues, pictures to worship. Believers are the temple of God. Our temple is in our bosom. In this sermon aspects of Solomons's temple are taken to consider the marks of a Christian who is saved by grace and made a member of the church of the living God. One of those marks is taken from the fact that in building the temple under Solomon's reign no tool was to be used to shape the stones near the temple. This is the first spiritual lesson for the church today. Christians must be shaped by the power of God before they are brought into the church.
